What We Collect

IRIS collects the minimum information needed to operate:

Discord User ID — used to link your account to an EVE character after verification.
Discord Guild ID and Channel ID — used to deliver killmail feeds and manage server configuration.
EVE Character ID and Name — stored after you complete EVE SSO verification via /verify.
EVE Corporation and Alliance ID — used to display your ticker and affiliation in Discord.

We do not collect EVE Online wallet information, location data, assets, skill information, or any other personal EVE data unless you explicitly use a command that requests it — and in that case, the data is never stored, only returned to you ephemerally.

How We Use It

To assign you a verified role and set your Discord nickname after SSO verification.
To deliver killmail feed embeds to subscribed channels.
To respond to slash commands with your linked character's information.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell, share, or trade your data with any third party.
We do not use your data for advertising.
We do not store ESI access tokens beyond the OAuth handshake required for verification.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@irisbot.cc. Server admins can remove all guild data by removing IRIS from their server.

Third-Party Services

IRIS uses EVE Online's public API (ESI) to look up character, corporation, and kill data. That data is governed by CCP Games' own privacy policy. IRIS is not affiliated with CCP Games.
